What does Latreia's summer team program look like?
The summer team will live in Minneapolis, serving as on-site hosts for summer mission groups of all ages. They coordinate service projects, facilitate nightly reflection, and lead cultural immersion activities with groups.

Latreia has a partner service organization in North Minneapolis. You will live in a youth center for the summer unless you choose to arrange your own housing (which you would stay in only when we do not have groups).
Summer teamers should be 19 years or older.
- Is the volunteer work evangelistic?
Only in the sense that it is sharing the love of Christ. Latreia, as an organization, believes that people should share about Christ through relationships and daily interactions. We believe in the importance of sharing the gospel but not at the cost of seeming like we are trying to 'win' people instead of love them.
Training:
You will have the opportunity to participate in a young adult mission trip as part of your training! The dates of training are typically during the last two weeks of May.
Work: This begins immediately following training and ends the first week of August.
- What is my salary and how much do I need to raise?
Your salary will vary based on experience, but typically is between $2,000-$3,000. You do not need to raise any additional funding unless you choose to do so.
- When will I find out if I've been accepted to be on team?
Applicants are accepted on a rolling basis. You should find out within 3-4 weeks of your initial application! It's never too early to apply so don't wait!
